Sofas
Sofas are great in living rooms and lounges, but they can also work well in conservatories annexes, and sometimes even in the garden. Keep in mind that sofas are large and very visible items so you may want to choose one that will work well visually, which can be different depending on where you place it.
Beds
Placing a bed between two windows is great if you want to feel a very gentle breeze over the bed. However placing it directly under a window can be uncomfortable as there will tend to be more draughts, as well as being directly overhead. Like sofas beds are often pretty big and often decorated in certain ways that may not fit the style of every room.
Chest of Drawers
If you have a walk-in closest, double up the storage by placing the chest of drawers inside the closet. This will free up space inside the room allowing for more furniture, or for less cluttered room.
