Some older properties have an abundance of smaller rooms which make you feel like you can’t do anything with them. You may think that your only option is to spend a large extension’s money to give you the rooms you desire. However, there is a way to decorate a small space to make it feel larger.
First, you could set the colour of the fixtures and furnishings to a neutral scheme. Add an abundant amount of textures with the designs you chose and have reflective qualities so the light can resonate around the room.
A large feature mirror will psychologically give the perception of a large space and cut down the furniture in the room to a minimalist approach to give it more space.
Removing heavy curtains and adding some features of vertical lines allows more light in the room and focuses your attention on the linear patterns in the room as opposed to the size.
